How to Request Car Seats

There is no separate form and no phone tag. The ages travel with your booking.

1. Give the ages when you book

On the quote form there is a notes field. Put the ages of the children riding, and the weight if your child is between stages. Booking by phone works the same way: tell reservations the ages.

2. We confirm the seats with your quote

Your confirmation names the seats we are bringing. If the ages you gave us suggest a different seat than the one you asked for, we will say so before the day rather than after.

3. They are in before your chauffeur leaves

Seats are fitted and checked at the vehicle, not in an airport pickup lane with your family standing beside it. You get in and go.

Transfers With a Toddler Who Needs the Nap

A private transfer to the Disney area or Lake Buena Vista is a flat $235 in a Luxury SUV, all-inclusive of vehicle, chauffeur, fuel and tolls, with the seats already in. The value is not the ride, it is the transitions: airport to hotel, hotel to park, park back for the afternoon nap, and out again at night.

Resort buses have no seat belts and no car seats. That is legal and fine for the short hops on property, and it is not what you want at the end of a travel day with a sleeping two-year-old. A car that collects you at the park entrance means nobody folds a stroller and nobody wakes a child to board.

What Else You Could Do, and Where It Breaks

Every option below works for somebody. Here is where each one stops working once small children are involved.

Rideshare with a car seat

Orlando is one of the few cities with Uber Car Seat, and it does work for one child. It is a single forward-facing seat, with no guaranteed rear-facing option and no boosters, and availability at the airport late at night is inconsistent. Two children of car seat age and the category is out.

Standard rideshare

Drivers are not required to carry seats and almost never do. Cancellations when a driver pulls up and sees a toddler without a seat are common enough that families plan around them. That is a bad thing to discover on a curb at 11pm.

Bringing your own

Airlines check car seats free, which is genuinely useful. The cost is carrying one through baggage claim with a tired child, then installing it yourself in a pickup lane. Worth it for a long stay with a rental car, painful for a transfer.

Shared airport shuttles

Shared vans are the cheapest reserved option and they are not private. You wait for the vehicle to fill and you ride through other parties' drop-offs. A 25-minute drive can run well over an hour when you are last.

Renting a car with a seat

Rental car seats cost roughly the price of buying one over a week, arrive uninstalled, and you fit them yourself in a garage after a flight. You also then drive Orlando with a full car after travelling all day.

A reserved car with seats in

One flat price known before you fly, the seats fitted and checked in advance, someone watching your flight, and a chauffeur at baggage claim. For a family, this is usually the whole decision.

Yes. MCO arrivals are the most common family booking we take. Your chauffeur tracks the flight, meets you at baggage claim in Terminal A, B or C with a name sign, handles the luggage, and the seats are already fitted in the vehicle. Complimentary wait time runs from when the aircraft actually lands, 30 minutes on domestic arrivals and 45 on international, so a delayed flight never costs you anything. We also serve Sanford, Daytona and the private FBO terminals.
Put the ages in the notes field on the quote form, or tell reservations when you call. That is all that is needed. Your confirmation will name the seats we are bringing, so you can check it before the day rather than discovering a problem at pickup. If your plans change and another child joins the trip, call or email and we will adjust the vehicle and the seats.
Florida requires children through age 3 to ride in a separate carrier or integrated child seat, and children aged 4 and 5 to use a car seat or booster. The statute does exempt chauffeur-driven vehicles hired for compensation, so a car service is not legally obliged to provide one, and many do not. We provide and install them anyway, because the exemption is about liability and not about what is safe for your child. Worth asking any company you book with, in writing, whether the seat will be installed before pickup.
For one child, Uber Car Seat in Orlando is a real option and we would say so. It supplies a single forward-facing seat, with no guaranteed rear-facing option and no boosters, and late-night availability at the airport is inconsistent. With two children of car seat age, an infant, or a booster-age child, it does not work. Standard rideshare drivers are not required to carry seats, almost never do, and cancelling on a family without one is common. Our rate is also fixed before you fly, so six flights landing at once does not change what you pay.
A Luxury SUV covers most families. Larger parties, a double stroller, a pack and play, or cruise luggage are better in an Extended SUV or a Sprinter, and we would rather put you in the bigger vehicle than have you arrive and not fit.
