Disney's Wedding Pavilion
The classic. A Victorian-style glass chapel on its own island in the Seven Seas Lagoon, framing Cinderella Castle in the window behind the altar. Capacity runs to about 250 guests, Disney's event teams handle catering and coordination at Disney polish levels, and the fairy-tale extras (from glass coach to castle-backdrop portraits) are available if you want to go full storybook.
Bella Collina
Twenty-five minutes west in Montverde, Bella Collina is a Tuscan hill-town fantasy rendered in stone: towers, terracotta roofs, sweeping staircases, and long golden-hour views over the lake and golf course. The ballroom seats up to 250, ceremonies happen on manicured lawns beside the reflection pond, and the on-site spa means the wedding party can prepare without leaving the property. If your reference photos say "Italy," this is the one.
Castle Hotel
On International Drive, the Bavarian-inspired Castle Hotel (Marriott's Autograph Collection) suits intimate celebrations: a Sky Terrace with panoramic city views for ceremonies and receptions, and the medieval-touched Antlers Lounge for smaller gatherings and welcome parties. A boutique-scale option when the guest list is 40, not 240.
Designing the Fairy Tale
- Pick a lane. Classic fairytale (Cinderella, Beauty and the Beast), medieval romance in jewel tones and heraldry, or modern royalty with minimalist gold-on-white. Carry it from invitation to last dance.
- Hire castle-fluent vendors. Photographers who know how to light stone interiors and grand staircases, florists who can scale arrangements to twenty-foot ceilings, entertainment from string quartets to costumed performers.
- Use every room. Ceremony in the garden, cocktails in the drawing room, reception in the great hall, sparkler exit down the grand staircase. Castle venues reward itineraries that move.
- Delight the guests. Wax-sealed favors, "royal decree" itineraries, a calligrapher at the guest book, a champagne tower for the toast.
